The Friday lunch at all WSST conferences will henceforth be known as the Ed Mueller Luncheon. The WSST Board in response to many requests and inquiries from members have chosen to honor our retired Executive Director, Ed Mueller, by naming this luncheon after him. Ed tirelessly served WSST starting in 1970 as the Newsletter editor. He was named Executive Secretary in 1971 adding the roles of treasurer and fall conference organizer. In the 1990’s WSST added support from Anne Murphy in the UW-Oshkosh Science Outreach Office. Ed and Anne handled all the membership and financial affairs of WSST. When Anne left WSST in 2003-04, Ed took over all the necessary administrative duties to keep WSST solvent and functioning. Ed held WSST together for over 40 years! Congratulations and thank you Ed for all your years of service to WSST!
