WSST Conference 2025

I have a passion to spread the word about the importance of agriculture to everyone! As an education outreach manager, my goal is to educate students and teachers about the role agriculture plays in their daily lives and to inspire a passion for the field and a desire to pursue a career in agriculture! I have spent 19 years in formal and informal education. I was an agriscience teacher and FFA advisor at the high school level for 10 years and have spent the last 9 in education outreach. The Food + Farm Exploration center is a dynamic learning facility that houses interactive exhibits, displays, a maker space, and a kitchen lab. The Center also hosts a variety of educational events for toddlers through adults.
