About me
Leigh Kohlmann is a nationally board certified teacher (NBCT) and brings 30+ years of passion for teaching science to middle school students. She thrives on their energy, renewed sense of curiosity and quirkiness. Leigh promotes science as one of many ways of knowing by facilitating local, state, and national workshops. She has been recognized for her educational excellence and innovation as a 2004 Kohl Fellow and was honored with a Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Education in 2020.
